Winter stays at Deveza

Looking for a place to slow down, get some work done and spend the winter surrounded by nature?
From November until the end of April, we open Land of Deveza for long-term stays. A small community for digital nomads, remote workers, people on a sabbatical, or anyone simply looking for a temporary home in Portugal.
The idea is simple: your own private space, plenty of peace and quiet, but with people around when you feel like being social.
Your own place
We have 5 Tiny Houses, each suitable for one person, and 1 Guesthouse, suitable for up to two people.
Every accommodation is completely private, so this is not a shared-house or hostel setup. You have your own little home and can retreat whenever you want.
At the same time, you’re not completely on your own. There are shared spaces and other long-stay guests around, giving you the freedom to find your own balance between privacy and community.

We like to keep things spontaneous and relaxed. There is absolutely no pressure to participate in anything, but when people are up for it, we sometimes organise drinks, potluck dinners or spontaneous get-togethers.
Some weeks might be very quiet, while others are a little more social. We simply see what everyone feels like.

Tiny House – €695 per month

All accommodations are rented per full month, with a minimum stay of one month.
Good to know
We strongly recommend having your own car.
Land of Deveza is located in the Portuguese countryside, on a hill surrounded by nature. That peaceful setting is a big part of what makes it special, but it also means that having your own transport makes life here much easier.
Without a car, it can feel quite isolated, and simple things like grocery shopping, going out for dinner or exploring the area become more difficult.
With a car, you get the best of both worlds: the peace and privacy of life at Deveza, while still having the freedom to explore the surrounding towns, mountains, rivers and villages.
No pets
As much as we love animals, pets are unfortunately not allowed during our long-term stays. Because we have several accommodations and shared spaces on the property, we want to keep the environment comfortable and peaceful for everyone staying at Deveza.
A different kind of winter
Land of Deveza is for people who enjoy nature, quiet mornings and having a little more space around them.
Work from the co-working space, take a break for a workout or some yoga, go for a walk, cook at home, explore the Portuguese countryside — or see if someone else feels like sharing dinner and a bottle of wine.
There’s room to be social, but also plenty of room to disappear into your own little world for a while.
Come for a month. Stay for a few. Make Deveza your home for the winter.
